  • Sam is a Minnesota native who grew up fishing, doodling, and building forts in the woods. At the tender age of 18 he left his beloved rural hometown for the creative metroplex of the Twin Cities. Sam was trained at the fabled College of Visual Arts in Saint Paul, and has worked for many of the fine design and advertising agencies that abound in Minneapolis. To the sheer amazement of his family, he has managed to turn all those youthful years sketching Lamborghini's, Great White Sharks and BMX bikes into an honest to God career. 
     
    He currently works at Colle+McVoy as a Design Director, and has worked with many notable client partners including: Apple, Nike, Indian Motorcycle, Red Bull, Esquire Magazine, Grain Belt Brewery, Schell's Beer, Phillips Distilling, Caribou Coffee, Target, MinuteClinic, and Purina.
     
    When he's not making stuff, Sam learns about real life from his better-half Natalie and their little dood Lincoln. He's still a country boy at heart, and continues to pursue fly-fishing, the great outdoors, mid-century modernity’s, the Swiffer®, Rock n’ Roll and Jesus Christ.
